at last i have managed to get some christmas cards done. they are all similar in style so i wont bore you with lots of pictures but i hae added one. the all (so far) feature this stamp and black and white papers from pink petticoat

well it is nearly christmas and i still havent started on my christmas cards. it is so unlike me i normally have a ll my general cards made by now. i have decided on a simple theme for this years which is black and white(means i dont have to colour my images. will put on the pictures as soon as i have atually managd to make some

STAR

This is a card which i made for my daughters birthday

My daughter loves princesses, ballerina's and pink

so the card practically designed itself.

This was my first star card and i was very pleased with the results so was my daughter

birthday tomorrow one from me and her dad and one from her brother, then i realised i had already made the card to her from me and her dad so i guess this will have to wait until next year

just complete my child minding pre registration course so all i have to do now is get my kitchen and bathroom ready and i will be good to go. in no rush but it would be nice to be registered by th six weeks holidays just in case

birthday card for my daughters friend

bookatrix card made for a freinds daughter using images from cuddlybuddly. its a shame really because it really is a cute card and i dont think that the photo has done the colour any justice as it looks a little washed out in the photo

this is the card that i have made for my nanas 80th birthday.

it is a double trifold shutter card and is quite easy to do. i learnt hw to do this after watching a tutorial on you tube

my daughter decided that she didnt want to go trick or treating as a cat so we tried a few other things and this is what she has set her heart on now. it is quite easy and quick to do which is a bonus.

shame though my sons wont have his done.not even sure if he will even get dressed into his costume yet

this is me and my hubs off to the helloween ball. i know a witch how original but i did do the spiderweb on the side of my face all by myself. it was quite easy suprisingly. had an absolute blast at the ball.

i had so much fun doing ians make up again although i do need to speed up slightly as it took me about 30 mins to do it. we also bought some green hairspray to complete the look

this is what we have decided my husband is going to the helloween ball as. i have had so much fun doing this and cant wait to do it for real friday. just have to sort out the rest of his costume and mine now.

my cousin has just had a baby girl and i wanted to make her something a little different than the usual baby card.i wanted something that she would hopefully keep. i designed this from an idea that i had seen in one of my card magazines and modified it to how i wanted it

i also made he a nappy cake photos of which a cannot find at the moment i definatly took some just not sure where i have uploaded them to. when i find them i will add them

sorry but again the pictures are not very good it was a bit difficult to hold and take the photo at tthe same time

just discoveredi am not too bad a face painting. this is my daughter on the night of her halloween disco. she wanted to go as a cat so i bought a book from amazon some face paints from ebay and gave it a try. she loved the result and i was quite happy with it myself.

me and my hubs are at the helloween ball next week at the ritz manchester which is fancy dress so i will have to see what i can now come up with for me and my DH. (if he will let me)

50th Birthday

I made this for my aunt who had requested a pink grown up girlie 50th Birthday Card. I rather liked it as it was different to anything i had made at the time. unfortunately my aunt didn't like it as she said it wasn't big enough

these are the cards which we made for my sons birthday. he is very into toy story at the moment so me and my daughter decided on that theme.

stared back at college today to do my nvq level 3 ccld. or at least i thought i would be doing but we had a full 2 hour session complting all the paper work which has to be submitted so you can be on the course. i was so annoyed and bored

my first attempt at a stubby diamond card, and i am quite pleased with the
outcome, i found this design suprisingly easy and couldn't wait to make some more

so i used a similar design for my hubbys valentines card, which i will photograph and put on later

i love this style of card i think it is so easy and looks great, this is one of an order for
a friend. used kim and co paper flowers and a random backing paper i had lying
around

This was for grandpa's birthday from the kids, this was my first time using twisted pyramage, but as it was die cut, it was very easy and quick to make, which was a good job considering it was made the night before his birthday because i had misplaced the card i had originally made.
